My Freelancing Story

Born at 23 weeks, 5 days gestation in 2012 and given a 5% chance of survival, our daughters came home after 126 and 141 days in the NICU, and are the very best part of each and every day of our lives.

In 2013, I became a full-time freelancer, working from my home office and giving me the best of both worlds – work that I’m passionate about and plenty of flexible family time with the three people that mean the world to me.

Many hospitals across the country believe that babies born before 24 weeks gestation should not be resuscitated. Our girls are two living, breathing examples of how wrong that idea is and how powerful God’s love can be.
